Born and raised in Utah. I first found my love for ceramics in high school, and continued my education and training in college. The BFA program and my short residency at Guldagergaard both influenced the way I think about and approach ceramics. I find comfort in the repetitive nature of throwing functional kitchenware on the wheel, however my non-functional/semi-functional pieces are where I feel I am best able to express my creativity.
